The mineral‑processing technology upgrade project at the Qixuan Plant of Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. is currently in full swing. The Plasen team is honored to be involved in this modernization effort. For this project, 19 Plasen sonar‑based flow and gas‑content measurement systems have been designed and installed. These sonar flow meters are deployed at the cyclone inlets, at the outlets of individual pumps, and along long‑distance pipeline sections. Each of these locations represents a critical flow‑measurement point in the production process; flow serves as a key indicator of output, and precise control of flow rates at every stage is essential for production management and accurate yield calculations.
On-site construction is underway, and the instrumentation installation and commissioning are still in progress. We look forward to the project’s successful commissioning and to the sonar flowmeter contributing to and enhancing Qixuan’s production operations!
