RP/αK measurement of sodium aluminate solution
Based on the chemical characteristics of sodium aluminate solutions and leveraging optical, electrochemical, and other advanced techniques, a dedicated modeling framework has been developed to enable real-time measurement of RP and αK concentrations throughout the entire Bayer‑process alumina production cycle. Tailored ceramic and fluid‑mechanics‑optimized slurry sensors have been custom‑designed to address the specific operational challenges of each process stage, such as scale formation and slurry erosion.
Accurate, real‑time, continuous measurements reduce reliance on laboratory sampling and analysis while mitigating the drawbacks of delayed control. Plasen offers comprehensive solutions that integrate these sensors to automate digestion and evaporation processes.
